Installing Virtual Tikkun Mobile

Follow these steps to install the Virtual Tikkun app on your iPhone for testing.

Prerequisites

1

Enable Developer Mode

iOS requires Developer Mode to install apps outside the App Store.

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone
  2. Go to Privacy & Security
  3. Scroll down and tap Developer Mode
  4. Toggle it On
  5. Tap Restart when prompted
  6. After restart, tap Turn On when prompted to confirm
2

Get the Install Link

Get the QR code from the Virtual Tikkun web app:

  1. Go to myvirtualtikkun.com and log in
  2. Click the gear icon to open Customize mode
  3. Select the Mobile App tab
  4. Scan the QR code with your iPhone camera
3

Register Your Device

Since this is an internal distribution build, your device needs to be registered with Apple.

  1. Tap Install on the build page
  2. You'll be prompted to register your device
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install a temporary profile
  4. This registers your device's unique ID (UDID) with the build system
  5. A new build will automatically be created that includes your device (~5 minutes)
  6. You'll receive an email when the new build is ready
Note: Device registration is only required once. Future builds will include your device automatically.
4

Install the App

Once the build including your device is ready:

  1. Return to the install link (check your email for the new build link)
  2. Tap Install
  3. Tap Install again in the popup
  4. The app will download to your home screen
5

Trust the Developer Certificate

The first time you open the app, iOS may block it.

  1. If you see "Untrusted Developer", tap Cancel
  2. Open Settings > General > VPN & Device Management
  3. Under "Developer App", tap ADAM DAVID HERTZ
  4. Tap Trust "ADAM DAVID HERTZ"
  5. Tap Trust to confirm
6

Launch the App

Find Virtual Tikkun on your home screen and tap to open. You're all set!
